8. Micah quite often smirks and chuckles when he looks at you. Don’t take it to be demeaning. If you had those bizarre and random thoughts popping into your head--you’d be smirking too.

Here's my first random about Rafe (and no one can steal it): 1) I know of no one more qualified to name 8 random things about other people than Rafe. He is the consummate human observer. He is good at it (as he himself has demonstrated on Lauren and Micah) and he considers it a hobby. He relishes any situation (beaches, restaurants, parties) in which there are interesting (who doesn't interest him?) people to watch.

i suppose these observations deserve some commentary besides yes, thanks, and i don't know. but some of these things i do know about, as do you.
1. i have changed my hairstyle at least three times, so to expect another change near midlife isn't unreasonable.

3. who isn't? sometimes i think it's easy for me to see the wide view and fine details but miss everything between. oh well.
